Formal
Meetings
The
EPCEC meets for dinner and a featured guest speaker on a
bi-monthly basis on the second Tuesday evening (unless
noted otherwise, e.g., a date around the holidays) of each even month
(February, April, June, August, October, and December) from 5:30 PM
to 7:30 PM at the
Destin Chamber of Commerce in the Regatta Commons office complex.
These dinner meetings represent the EPCEC's "formal" meetings.
Each estate planning profession within the EPCEC will rotate in
inviting speakers from his or her discipline to address the EPCEC,
resulting in a variety of perspectives and topics.

Reminders Regarding
Meetings
The EPCEC reminds
its members about all meetings. Reminders
are sent via e-mail and/or facsimile in order to save costs for the EPCEC and to ensure prompt delivery,
as well as telephone calls. However, this page and
site are intended to serve as a means to access the EPCEC's calendar
and to obtain nearly all general information about the EPCEC.
Therefore, the EPCEC encourages its members (and prospective
members) to visit this site and to bookmark it so that everyone can
access information about the EPCEC easily and at their convenience
via the Internet.

Informal
Meetings
On alternating
months (that is, each odd month), the EPCEC offers informal “brown-bag” lunches.
These informal meetings, which are completely optional,
occur at various locations. They are intended to (1) facilitate
the exchange of practical information, (2) allow sharing of ideas and techniques,
and (3) build relationships
among the membership of the EPCEC. Topics include follow-up
commentary and questions on regular/formal meetings, discussions
about estate planning techniques, discussions on estate planning
articles or newsletters, and other practical topics. All brown-bag lunches begin promptly at noon and end at 1:00 PM
(Central), although members may generally arrive earlier or remain
later if desired.
